I am an emerging writer from Ramotswa, Botswana, where I live with my mother and aunt. I am also the founder of Ultra Studio, a film production company built on the belief that the best stories — the ones worth putting on screen — begin on the page.

My love for stories started with film. As a child, watching movies with my mother was more than entertainment — it was the first time I understood that a story could make you feel something you had no words for yet.

That feeling never left me. It only grew into a need to create.

I love all genres. Every kind of story has a truth inside it, and I am interested in all of them — the grounded and the extraordinary, the intimate and the cosmic. My writing draws from the real world: from Botswana, from Africa, from the full and complicated human experience that does not often enough find its way onto pages or screens made here.

But I also write toward the stars — sometimes literally. In Form Two, I opened a Science textbook and stumbled onto a chapter about astronomy, the study of space. I was electrified.

And then, slowly, the quiet realisation: Botswana has no space programme. Africa has no space programme. I still do not fully understand why that chapter was there. But it planted something in me that has never stopped growing.

Some of my stories will be firmly on the ground. Others will reach further out. That chapter is why.

This is the starting phase of something I have believed in for a long time. I do not take lightly the fact that you are here, reading this, considering giving your time to what I make.

— A Note To You

Whether you pay for a book or simply read a free one, you are part of this. I can only hope the stories are worth it — and I will keep working until they are.
